Install, verify and launch version one on an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later.

Version one supports Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later only. Get the signed and notarized aarch64 DMG from the download page; Intel Macs are outside the version-one support scope.

Verify the artifact

shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/deepseek-harness-desktop-community-*.dmg

Compare the output with the SHA-256 in the download table before continuing.

Install

  • Double-click the dmg to mount the disk image.
  • Drag DeepSeek Harness Desktop into the Applications folder.
  • If macOS warns on first launch, confirm under System Settings → Privacy & Security.
